It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our Executive Director, Randy Hammons, passed away last night.

Randy Hammons
Randy Hammons
January 11, 1953 - October 06, 2014

Randy - thank you for all that you did for the Museum.  Your time and efforts did not go unnoticed.  We would not be here today without your leadership and passion.  Thank you for being such a great friend, father and husband.

You will be sorely missed.

We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Per the family's request, donations to the WWII History Center are being accepted in honor of Randy.

Payment can be made with PayPal or any major credit card by clicking the "Donate" button below, or by contacting the museum staff at contactus@wwiihistorycenter.org or at (316)322-8753

Due to the passing of Randy Hammons, we have decided to postpone our fundraising dinner, "A Night to Remember" until next year.  We apologize for any troubles this may have caused.

DONATE TODAY!
Click below to make a one-time donation, or set up monthly recurring donations.  If everyone chipped in just a little bit a month, it would go a long way to helping the Museum with our educational programs, public events and achieving future goals.  Please donate today!!!

A donation button has been added to our home page.  If everyone that visited our site contributed just $1 a month from their paycheck to go to the WWII History Center, it would make all the difference in the world to us.  Small donations like that would cover monthly operating expenses for the museum and would allow us to expand and spend money elsewhere.  We are a non-profit educational museum that lives off of donations.  Please consider donating today!

We have a lot of events coming up now through the end of the year.  We're working on several new exhibits, we'll be at two WWII Movie Premiers at Warren Theatres and most important of all is the first two weeks in November - our 2nd Annual Fundraising Dinner/Dance is on November 1 and our 8th Annual Open House and Public Battle Reenactment is on November 8th.
