The World War II History Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization operated entirely by volunteers. 
Your support is needed and appreciated

Open Saturdays, 12:00pm to 4:00pm except holidays, 

or when the "Open" sign is displayed.

Special visits may be arranged by appointment.



New front exhibit at the WWII History Center
Front Room Exhibit - Dioramas from the extensive collection of Van McLemore from Wichita, KS (see close up pictures on our Facebook page).  Also on display is the flag won by the WWII History Center as Best Organization from our entry in the 2014 Park City Independence Day Parade.



Indians in Aviation
The WWII History Center helped out with the Mid-America All Indian Center's new exhibit, "Indians in Aviation."
A Night to Remember & WWII Day
is coming up soon!  OUr 2nd Annual Fundraising Dinner/Dance is on Nov. 1 and our 8th Annual Open House and Public Battle is on Nov. 8. 
Movie Premiers
The WWII History Center will have displays at several upcoming WWII movie premiers at the 13th Ave Warren Theatre through the end of the year!

We have a lot of events coming up now through the end of the year.  We're working on several new exhibits, we'll be at two WWII Movie Premiers at Warren Theatres and most important of all is the first two weeks in November - our 2nd Annual Fundraising Dinner/Dance is on November 1 and our 8th Annual Open House and Public Battle Reenactment is on November 8th.

Annual Meeting
The 2014 Annual Meeting will be held on 29 March 2014 at the WWII History Center from 1 pm to 3 pm.  All are welcome to attend and learn about what the museum accomplished in 2013 and what's in store for 2014.

Kansas WWII Day
We've announced Kansas WWII Day on during Veteran's Day Weekend on Saturday, November 9.  The days activities include the museum's Open House, the city's Veteran's Day parade, a public battle reenactment, and our first major fundraising event - a 1940s style dinner, silent auction and USO-style dance.  Check out the event and purchase tickets on this webpage!!!
