Japanese Type 38 6.5mm Carbine

 

This is a Japanese Type 38 6.5mm Carbine that was found in a cave in the Philippines during the war by Bruce Curtis.

Honolulu Star-Bulletin Pearl Harbor Attack Newspaper

 

This is an original copy of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin newspaper that was issued the day of the Pearl Harbor attack.

WWII Wedding Dress from Paratrooper Parachute

 

This is an example of recycling during World War II.  This wedding dress was made from a paratroopers parachute.  After its use, the trooper sent the parachute home for his fiancee to make into a wedding dress.
