6/12/08 - Click here to check out our latest fundraiser!  We are raffling off a queen-size, hand-sewn, 100% cotton, patriotic quilt to raise money for the World War II History Center.  Tickets are available for a suggested $2 donation. 

 

6/12/08 - Our charter membership drive is coming to an end!  The last day that you can become a charter member is November 8th, 2008, the date of our Grand Opening.  After that date, membership fees will increase by $5.  So become a member today and lock in your membership fee, as well as extra opportunities that won't be available to regular members!

 

4/28/08 - Thanks to an $18,000 grant from the K. T. Wiedemann Foundation of Wichita, KS, we have completed the first phase of our fundraising campaign for our new building.  We now have enough funds to complete our renovation project!  The campaign will continue as we begin to raise an additional $50,000 to purchase the building pictured above.

There is currently a tie between the AMVETS Department of Kansas and AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Department of Kansas.  Both have donated $500 thus far.

The mission of the World War II History Center Foundation is to facilitate a museum and resource facility dedicated to the history of the World War II era.  The center will strive to educate all generations about the reasons for the war and the profound impact WWII had on the world.
