Public Display and Battle - WWII Weekend at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, MO. The Corps will be returning to JB again this year. JB is one of the largest WWII reenacting events in the country. Past events have seen 450+ reenactors and up to 20,000 spectators. There are two battles on Saturday and one on Sunday. On Saturday night there is a canteen dance with a live band playing 40's music. Last year, the dinner cost $10. In years past, we've found it's easier to get a motel for Friday and Saturday night, then to drive home first thing on Sunday morning. If you'd like to camp out, you have to register for a spot. Get more info at http://2ndrangers.org/wwii_weekend.php. Contact Erik Runge if you're interested in attending, and we can work on setting up a caravan.May 12 - New!
