2010

Date TBATheatrical release of the movie, Red Tails, starring Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Terrence Howard. A film by George Lucas about the Tuskegee Airmen. We will set up a display about the Tuskegee Airmen at the West Warren Theater in Wichita, Kansas for the movie's release and will try to contact a local Tuskegee Airman that we are aware of to be available for questions at the display.

March 17th

World War II History Center Foundation Board Meeting, 7:30pm

March 20th

World War II History Center Foundation Annual Meeting, 2:00pm at the World War II History Center. We will be providing an Annual Report and holding elections for positions 4, 5 and 6 on the Board of Directors. Nominations for board positions must be received 1 week prior to the meeting to be eligible for election.

April 17th

Patriot's Day Celebration, McLouth, Kansas. We will be participating in a parade and battle reenactment starting at 1:00pm. McLouth is located about 15 minutes north of Lawrence, Kansas.

May 26th - 28th

73rd Bomb Wing Reunion, Wichita, Kansas.

May 28th - 30th - New!

Operation Celebration: The 1940's, Peabody, Kansas. We will set up an information booth and will conduct our second annual public battle reenactment. Many other activities including a parade will also take place in the city. Further information will be posted here as the event nears.

November 6th

3rd Annual World War II History Center Open House and World War II Battle Reenactment. Details to be added here as the event nears.
