Veteran's Organization Fundraising Challenge
Rules:
The competition shall be between all recognized posts of the three major veteran's organizations, as well as between the major organizations themselves.
Any of the three major veteran's organizations (including AMVETS, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion) are eligible to participate.
Any recognized post or organization nation-wide (or foreign) of AMVETS, Veterans of Foreign Wars or American Legion, including their respective Auxiliaries and Legion Riders or Patriot Guard are eligible to participate.
Contributions must be noted as being from either a post or the organization as a whole.
Competition ends when the World War II History Center Foundation reaches its Phase 2 goal of $75,000 which will be announced on the main page of this website and in local media.
The winning post shall be the post that donates the largest amount of cash donations by the end of the competition.
The winning organization shall be the organization as a whole (meaning funds raised by all of its subsidiary posts) that contributes the largest amount of cash donations by the end of the competition.
Prizes:
The winning post shall receive a large plaque (design not yet approved) recognizing its efforts in supporting the World War II History Center Foundation for display at the post's location, and at the World War II History Center in a conspicuous location.
All current members in good standing of the winning post at the end of the competition shall receive free memberships for one year to the World War II History Center!
